Peniel foundation is a Non-governmental organization that inspires, empowers and advocate for youth living with disabilities to contribute to the development of the nation and achieve their vision of equal right. In light with its commitment to fulfilling the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal, Peniel Foundation i contributing emphatically in the area of reducing inequalities (Goal 8) through Peniel Empowers initiative which trained 50 youth with disabilities with entrepreneurial and digital marketing skills. This empowerment initiative will, in turn, reduce inequalities for people living with disabilities and also provide decent employment for them, making them able to contribute to the nations building.
Peniel Foundation runs a mentoring program where it inspires, educates and supports people living with disabilities. It has recorded tremendous successes with mentees of the mentoring program, a key beneficiary of the mentoring program has gone on to bake and also host her TV show “possibilities”. Showcasing the talents of persons with disabilities. She is the new captain of the first female amputee football team of Nigeria and is doing exploits now.
Peniel Foundation envisions an inclusive African continent where youths living with disabilities attain their full potential and can contribute to nation building.
